Maplemere Elementary School is a learning community that celebrates the achievement and hard work of Students and Champions (staff members) daily. Our goal is to provide a curriculum that fosters academic and social-emotional growth through unique opportunities which we refer to as the "Maplemere Experience." New Athletics App Makes Team Schedules Easy

The winter season for Sweet Home athletics is in full swing. Now, it is easier than ever to follow your Panthers with our new Sweet Home Athletics App. No more fumbling around looking for game schedules. Our new Athletics App has everything you need to easily follow your favorite team, or every team in our program. Users can register an athlete for a sport, watch live streams of games, access the Athletics handbook, buy Panther gear, and link to our social media pages. This app is a MUST HAVE for anyone and everyone that is interested in Panther Athletics. We hope to see you at a contest soon!

Maplemere Focus Group Begins Capital Project Planning

This week, we will unveil a timeline related to the work of our capital project. In December, voters approved a $90.5 million project that will provide additions at three of our four elementary buildings, renovations at our elementary schools, many maintenance items throughout the District, enhancements to our athletic facilities, and so much more.

We have identified spacing, particularly at Maplemere, as a priority as we begin the design process. Last week, a team from Maplemere met with our architects to provide input on the design of the addition there. Their work was built on the helpful feedback we received from various stakeholders throughout the process, including our teachers.

We are moving forward now in order to meet our goal of having a shovel in the ground by the summer of 2027 on that piece of the project.

Students & Teachers have a Blast at Annual SABAH Skate-A-Thon

The annual SABAH Inc Skate-A-Thon is one of our favorite events! SABAH stands for Student Athletes Bold at Heart. This wonderful fundraising event offers student-athletes the opportunity to skate on the ice at the KeyBank Center and meet special guests like Sabretooth and several Buffalo Sabres players. Students, teachers, and staff from both Willow Ridge and Maplemere participated this year and had a blast.
