We recently hosted a welcome night for multilingual families who are new to Sweet Home. They were able to meet many faces that will become familiar, learn about important procedures, and even take a ride on a school bus to get used to the process. Thank you to all of our fantastic staff members who contributed including some of our ENL team, led by Dr. Elizabeth Kosakowski, who organized the event and welcomed our new Panthers with open arms. #WeAreSweetHome

Sweet Home School District is pleased to announce the next Driver Education session at Sweet Home High School starting on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Details on the program and a digital registration form, can be found here:
- The in-car portion of Driver Education will be offered by Hoffman's Driving Academy.
- You must take both a classroom session and an in-car session. Classroom sessions will take place at Sweet Home High School Room 400B.
- Cost is $879.00. Registration is open immediately.
- You must either pay in full or place a deposit of $100 to hold your spot. Checks can be made out to Sweet Home Community Education. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
- Sweet Home High students will receive preference in registration.
- All absences must be made up in order to complete the course. There is a $50 fee that will be charged to students for a make-up for a missed session.
- The course must be paid in full before you are issued your Certificate of Completion.

(For all incoming 9th grade students & parents)
Date: Tuesday, September 1st
Time: 5:30 - 7:00 PM
Location: Sweet Home HS (Main Entrance Door 1)
Receive your schedules/locker #’s at Door 1.
See where all of your classes will be located.
Set up your lockers.
Become comfortable/familiar walking around the HS.
Pick-up your new 9th grade HS iPad/Charger.

Swimming is one of our favorite activities during the summer months. With the number of opportunities and places to swim in our region continually growing, it is important that we stay safe in the water. Attached, please find some tips provided to us from the New York State Department of Health that will help keep all of us safe in our pools and waterways.
